Location | Rules & Regulations | Lodging & Meals | Cleaning of Game | Transportation Contentnea Creek Hunting Preserve is located in the heart of the North Carolina Coastal Plains about 9 miles northeast of Kinston and about 8 miles southeast of Snow Hill in the Hookerton-Hugo areas and is open for hunting everyday except Sundays and Christmas Day. Hunters may use their own dogs if they are under control and hunts should be booked in advance. Hunts do not automatically include a guide but one may be requested if needed (tips are required for guides). Group packages including Businesses and Corporations are available. Due to high feed prices, all charges are subject to change. Rules and Regulations 1. All hunters must have a valid NC hunting license or Shooting
Preserve permit. We reserve the right to refuse hunting to any person who fails to exhibit proper safety procedures. Lodging and Meals We have a hunting lodge available for your stay. Please reserve when you call about your hunt. $20.00 per person a night. Southern cooking provided for our guests if requested. While you are hunting request one of our "house specials", a meal to satisfy any outdoor enthusiast. You may request something different if desired. Fees upon request. Call 252-747-2020. to get your game cleaned. Transportation The Kinston Regional Jetport is located six miles away. Transportation is provided to and from the airport. |
