Schedule A Hunt

Located in the heart of eastern North Carolina hunting country, we provide guided and unguided hunts for upland game such as quail, pheasant, and chuckar. We offer well maintained natural habitats that includes pine woods, open fields, and areas around the beautiful Contentnea Creek.

Specifically, our services include the following hunts:

  • Quail

  • Pheasants

  • Chuckar

  • Wild Duck (in season)

  • Deer Hunting

  • Spring Turkey Hunting

​

Additionally, we also provide:

  • Contentnea Creek Kennels for hunting dog training

  • Lodging for overnight hunters

  • Optional cleaning of game

General Information

​

  • We are located about 9 miles northeast of Kinston, NC and about 8 miles southeast of Snow Hill, NC in the Hookerton-Hugo areas of Greene and Lenoir Counties.

  • We are open 7 days a week, except Christmas Day.

  • Hunters may use their own dog(s) if they are under control. We have excellent hunting conditions for training young dogs.

  • Ideally, hunts need to be booked at least one week in advance.

  • Hunts do not include a guide. If requested, a guide and dog(s) will be provided for an additional cost. Please see our pricing samples and packages.

  • Group packages available. Please contact us for pricing information.

  • Business and corporate hunts are also available. Please contact us for pricing information.

  • Due to high feed prices for game birds, printed charges are subject to change.
